Roadmap 5/3/2022
Thought I’d update on where I plan to take this little project post gamejam!
There are three major phases I’m using for bucketing work/plans.
Immediate
Currently working on
- Add sound! Simple music and SFX
- Usability and playability tweaks:
- Enemy health adjustments
- Bullet size modifications
- Recharging shields
- Collision cleanups
Near-term
Planning nearly finished, or entirely finished
- Resolution expansion
- Better enemy AI/patterns and spawning logic
- Discrete levels
- Bosses
- New weapons, equipment, roguelike elements
Far-term
Planning phase, ideation, etc
- Multiplayer!
- Free-for-all
- Team based (global teams, not squads)
- Better controller support
- Unlockables, progression
- Events, new levels
