Update 0.3.0 - preview 2
DiceMakerA downloadable tool for Windows and Linux
Hey,
0.3.0-preview-2 brings just a couple of updates I wanted to publish before the week starts for good.
- New features:
- additional measurements - per dice - to display more information about dice geometry, e.g. point-to-point distance, face-to-face distance, and others.
- non-uniform face graphic scaling is now possible.
- when using a mouse scroll over a slider you can change values in smaller increments by holding a Control button, or in larger increments by holding a Shift button.
- engraving depth can now be negative - you can use this to create raised numbers.
- Improvements/bugfixes
- PNG tracer is slightly better now.
- PNG tracer now scales the input image uniformly, taking the traced geometry into account. This should eliminate an issue with "squished" imported images.
- I fixed an issue where the last vertex in a loop was discarded, this often resulted in one corner of a loop being "cut".
- Straight vertical/horizontal lines should result in straight edges without any extra vertices.
SVGs are still a better option than PNGs though. Please try using SVGs instead of PNGs.
- "Add new dice" button is now properly placed at the bottom of the panel after loading a scene.
