General Update 05/01/2022
More work balancing the game, as well as some other general bug
fixes and enhancements.
General
- Lifesteal value per attribute point increased from 2.4 to 5, so
all entities/environment objects with lifesteal have a bit more than
twice as much.
- Resolved not fairly selecting between options at the same power
level for waves - the first option was always ignored.
Difficulty Curve
- Difficulty curve sped up significantly, increasing the difficulty
of the game. New key timings are:
- Level 2 on wave 3
- Level 3 on wave 6
- Level 4 on wave 9
Units
- Earth Mage - Attribute distribution changed from
{hp_max = 1, move_speed = 1, attack_dps = 2, attack_range = 2}
to
{hp_max = 2, move_speed = 1, attack_dps = 5, attack_range = 5}
- Clay Golem
- "Changed Design" upgrade explosion damage increased from 1.5x to 2x, and
max damage reduced from 1/2 to 1/3
- Rock Trolls
- "Resource Sharing" now also increases attack range (adds 1.5x original
attack range, for a net 2.5x attack range) and increases attack speed
(attacks twice as fast)
- Animated Sculpture
- When in resource collection form the animated sculpture is uncontrollable
to reduce confusion, and if it does not gain any resources after 30 seconds
it will allow movement again
- Airy beast
- The damage taken as a result of excess convergence is also marked as reflect
damage, so airy beasts will no longer kill themselves on their own thorns when
triggering excess convergence.
- Living laboratory
- Stone Golem
- Multiple layers explosion damage reduced from 3x to 2.5x
- Changed design max damage taken reduced from 1/3 to 1/4
Bug Fixes
- Resolved all attack speed modifiers not doing anything
- Resolved calming aura crashing
- Resolved an unlikely crash that could occur when a unit which is
constructed is selected when their construction finishes.
