Phew! What a wild finish!
Hey everyone, I'm super happy to say that OmniGear has officially been submitted to the OST Jam! I'm super happy with how the game turned out. While there are things that I would have loved to do and get in, I'm so proud of what I was able to accomplish in a relatively short amount of time.
For those who don't know what OmniGear is: OmniGear is a multiplayer robot arena fighter. Think of games like Power Stone, Custom Robo, and Armored Core. Customize your mech and battle your friends.
There are a ton of things that I cut/rushed in order to make the deadline and I would love to get those things in. So here is a list of some of the things that I want to update, improve, and/or add in the game:
Heh, as you can see it is a fairly comprehensive list of things with a couple of standout ones; the two biggest being online and single player. I really want to put these in because I would love for people without the ability to play locally with someone to get a chance to try the game. Also, I'd love to learn how to do online!
But as for immediate next things I'm planning on finish up some low hanging fruit which is adding in the other modes that are half implemented right now; as well as adding in more parts and abilities. With the deadline of the OST Jam gone, I'm not going to try and rush this, but you can still expect to (hopefully) see those updates soon!
At any rate thank you all for checking out my game and let me know what you think! I'd love to hear any suggestions, constructive criticism, and comments to help improve the game.
