cryptid coffeehouse version 2.0 is out now!

to start this post off, i just want to thank everyone so much for the insane amount of support and love that this game has gotten. i'm just one person, literally just a kid in college, and to know that something that i've created has touched over 1,800 people is absolutely mindblowing. i've wanted to make video games since i was in middle school. this is a dream come true. i love these characters and this world with all my heart and i'm so, so, so grateful and so happy that you all love it too. thank you so much! i won't let you guys down!

but all the mushy stuff aside, i've got a surprise for everyone. three months after the original release date of cryptid coffeehouse, i'm back with a brand new shiny update of the game! i've spent the entire semester working hard to build something that not only i love, but something you all will love too. this new build of the game features:

• three new story events that expand on artemis' narrative and their relationship with you as the player! it's over 35,000 words of content! it's so much!
• 2 additional unlockable cgs + a gallery to view all the images you've unlocked during your playthrough!
• several new locations and more screentime for the characters you only see, like, twice! [looks slyly over at taz the night shift barista and jaxeon the jackalope boy]
• image choices! instead of text on some choice menus, you're able to look and see what you're actually picking because i've drawn it all!!!
• miscellaneous things to make the game look cleaner! (expression dissolves! textbox fades! text alignment! corrected typos!)
• and, of course, lots of yucky gushy lovey-dovey romance stuff with artemis <3
