Thanks to everyone who played the game at BGX last night! The latest version is up, and here's what's new:
-Hero Saving
If you win a scenario, you have the option to save your characters and play with them again. Stats and skills are saved, but items are not.
-New Map: Serpent River
Serpent River is a 100x100 map suited for parties starting at level 4 or 5. The monsters here are tougher than on the other three maps.
-Character Creation
In addition to the six default characters coming with the game, you can now create your own character to play with.
-Time Limits
You now have to find the treasure within a finite number of days or lose the game. The time limits are generous, but you will get a rank award when you win depending on how quick you were. This change will force you to plan your exploration carefully.
-End turn lag fixed
The lag that often occurred when ending your turn while exploring has been removed.
