My water physics engine from my LD50 entry “Last Breath” has now been pulled out of the game and made public for any Godot devs to use in their own game!
It is live on Github at https://github.com/adrenallen/WaterMap
It is currently pending approval to the official Godot Asset Library 🤞
It allows anyone to quickly add water physics to their game by simply adding a child node to their TileMap! It has a number of configuration options, and I’m looking to expand them now that the v1 release is out!

You can also see it in action on my LD50 entry, where you play as a cave explorer evading a flooding cave for treasure!
I’m excited to get some feedback and hopefully allow others to add some fluid water to their own games!
