Just a small report to show you what I'm currently working on.
As you know, This month will see the release of basic animal husbandry. I decided to postpone the release of "goats" and do only chickens for this initial version. I will add them if you feel I have enough time and they will be added later if I won't manage to do so this month.
Initial version will be quite simple. You buy the animals and they act like normal items. You can sell them back or use the for crafting (butchering). First, you must build small barn. This will allow you to have four small animals and one medium. You will have to feed your animals every week with plant fiber. I also added a seed recipe to grow your own plant fiber.
If you feed your animals, you will be able to search the box next to the feed bowl and get 0-2 eggs per chicken and some feathers. The more chickens you have, the more eggs you get but you will have to use more plant fiber to feed them all.
If you run out of fiber or you forget to feed your animals, one of them will die. This continues if you keep forgeting or running out of food, so be sure to plan ahead.
The system is basicaly complete and needs to be checked for bugs and duplicated into all hideout maps. Adding goats will be slightly more difficult, but I might be able to finish them in time.
Next, I want to start working on the economy overhaul. First step is the inability to sell everything to everyone. Farmers will buy plants and farming tools, but won't be interested in weapons or smithing materials. Hunter will buy raw leather, but won't be interested in plants or clothing.
Next step is overhauling all item prices. I might be able to do it this month but if not, then I will add it next month.
That's it for now. Next version will be released before the end of this month and as a parting gift, here are another two miniatures I painted recently.
