Some people experienced the camera jarring, so I put some effort into it and made it smoother. Especially the vertical character move does now not involve the camera to move, only if you enter a higher platform. But also when you fight in place there is a window where the camera just stays before it follows the character again. Actually, I had that before but since I added a y-offset to the camera to make falling ceiling objects more visible I made the camera accidentally stiff and was too lazy to dig into it and solve it.
