#cgc #update
It's not an April Fool's Day prank! Actually it'd be a pretty lame one. This update is entirely focused on bug fixes, especially for MZ. The big one is that touch/mouse controls are now working in MZ!
In addition to the other modes of communication, the comment section of this devlog is a great place to report any bugs you find from 1.0.7.
I definitely want to keep adding features to this plugin. I've got an entire document of plans for future updates, and basically every message I've received about feature requests has ended up in there. By far the most requested feature is one I can't believe isn't already in the plugin:
The extremely popular request is for there to be a way to remove cards from play. This is the Exhaust keyword in Slay the Spire. So I'll be adding two new Card Actions to support this mechanic:
I'm also thinking about card actions that more directly manipulate cards moving between deck/hand/discard. I can't say more until I finalize what that looks like.
You know how most digital card games have a visual indicator of a card that can be played and a card that can't? That usually takes the form of a glowing outline around the card. I honestly can't believe it didn't occur to me until after the plugin was released. What an oversight!
I know this one isn't quite as exciting as the Remove mechanic, but it's pretty fundamental. Look forward to this getting its own page on the help doc.
When will this update happen? I can't promise any dates. I have blocked out a few hours a week to work on it, though sometimes I sneak in a bit more. It'll be released when it's ready, I suppose.
I have been floored by the reception this plugin has received. I anticipated it having some niche appeal but this has become MythAtelier's most popular plugin by far! Thank you to everyone who has left a rating of 5 stars on the store page, everyone who has suggested features and submitted bug reports, and everyone who's just generally had nice things to say.
