The Family's Curse
A browser game made in HTML5

Heyo! Hope everyone had a great March.

Sadly, the patch 0.2 will not be able to be released this weekend but I want to give an update on how things are going in the development:

Bro

I want to say that I'm 2/3rd of the way finished with his story (but you never know when the inspiration strucks) and I will try to wrap everything up this weekend. The reason beings that he has more places to explore than I expect and unlike the no-nonsense dad, there are a more sentimental aspects when it comes to him. Some key elements you will be able to experience through his route: fitness, worshipping, body odors,...

Game mechanics

With 0.1 you're pretty much a super human with no restrictions and I think this is quite illogical. Therefore, I would like to introduce some new features such as:

- Eating: If not eating in X hours, you will die - bad end. Meals can be had with your family at the right times, otherwise you have to pay Y amount of $ in the fast food restaurant.

- Sleeping: Pretty much the same as above since for now aside from passing the time you have no need for sleep.

- Horniness: You're also affected by the curse, so it doesn't make any sense that you can go on for days without jerking off or doing something about it. You will not directly get a bad ending with the highest horniness but it will make you super compulsive and unable to control your actions around the characters. Therefore their suspicions will rise so in the end can technically lead to a bad ending.

For now, the above will probably serve as a restriction, however later down the line, I can potentially add some scenes that intertwine with your stats so they don't feel like just an all around burden to your gameplay.

General storyline

This is the thing I dread annoucing the most. After some deep thinking, I decided to edit the whole storyline and omit the taboo aspect from the game. As much as some like it, I feel like it will be detrimental to my game's commercial successes, my own writing or game design experience in the future. Expect things to be more PG in the upcoming patch.
