I know this might seem like a joke, but it is not. After over half an year I have decided to return to developing this dream of mine. Hopefully I will eventually pull through and have an amazing game that many people can enjoy it as much as I do.
I want to eventually release it on steam, but I am a bit short on money right now so that might have to wait a few months, in the meantime I will mainly focus on polish and will try to add a new map before then. That might take a full month or maybe even a bit more since I don't have half as much free time as I used to, but I promise it will eventually be out. I will also probably delete the current second map since it's bad.
With that said, enjoy the patch notes!
- Now first time players will get a prompt to input their nickname
- Changed the mass of the balls to make them feel less floaty and adjusted jump strength to account for this.
- Added post processing. The game should look nicer (I think it does at least)
- Made menu easier to navigate and harder to break.
- I started using github to make sure I don't fuck up! (Probably should have done way earlier)
- Fixed the ghost jump once and for all (or at least I wasn't able to reproduce it again)
