Sprint 1 nearing it's end
This week marks the last week of production sprint 1.
With 1 member of the dev team fully back up and running we were able to spend this week finally merging art and gameplay.
Player movement is on point and local multiplayer is implemented.
Next up for the dev team are the bouncing mechanics and player elimination.
On the art side, the lighting, postprocessing and background environments are at a viable level. Further polishing is reserved for the last two weeks of this project, after the feature freeze.
The arena bounds visualisation is tied into the actual player location as well.
And Witse has started work on the Weapon pickups as well.
Slingshot manoevre initiated
While the coming three weeks are planned as a break, we'll be able to make good use of this time to get back on track before production sprint 2 starts.
By that time a second member of our dev team should be able to slowly get back into the fray!
I'll try to post an update here on the work we get done during the break to keep a degree of continuity.
