I believe this project was a bit of a struggle but overall entertaining. I think making a door first and building out from there has made scaling the house to a “normal” size more manageable. Plus finding the floor plan and starting from the beginning really improved the whole design of the level.
I think my biggest struggle with this level was my lack of knowledge on unreal compared to other game making softwares such as Unity, and the tools that I was more comfortable with in Unity rather than the snapping features in Unreal 5. I believe my texturing was in need of some work. I liked my cabinet textures even if it put strange doors on the sides and top. The image of the door on the front of the cabinet was very pleasing to the eye. I think if I were to texture the assets before uploading them or even learning more in depth of the texturing within unreal 5 my level as a whole will be more pleasing.
