One day after the launch of GDNote, the ability to open any .txt document and the ability to save to any location on your computer, with a user-specified name and file extension is now available, making this a proper text editor.
The opened document being edited, or the newly created document being edited will be indicated in the window's title bar with the path, name, and file extension of the file.
The build has been tested through the itch.io website downloads and the itch.io launcher. Can confirm it works, if it does not work for you, please leave a comment or submit a bug report (idk how you can submit one)
If you want to request new features, please leave a comment and I will decide if the feature will be added or not.
