Dev Update #135

Summer Scent
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android

Not much to say. the work on scene 16 is still ongoing. The posing is almost finished. I have 14 more shots to go. I should finish it next Monday.

Next is scene 17. I expect it to be very short unless I have some genius idea while writing it.

On the side, I started reworking the story map for v0.6.3 and v0.6.4. I'm not sure how I will handle the content for these future releases. They're going to be very asymmetrical, with barely one scene on each branch of the asshole paths and more for the moronic hero and the main branch paths. However, I'm slowly come to think that maybe that's something I shouldn't care about. The game is episodic for now while it is in development, but in the bigger picture of a finished product, that problem of balancing the content will be non-existent and I feel like that's what I should be focusing on.

The quick sum up :

  • Day 6 Part 2 will contain 8 scenes (Scenes 11 to 18).
  • Scenes 11 to 16 are written. 
  • Scenes 11 to 15 are posed and rendered. Most of scene 16 is posed.
  • Scenes 11 and 12 are logic ready.
  • 13 096 words, 1095 lines of code. 424 shots are posed and 398 are rendered, 14 more shots are planned.
  • I'm currently posing scene 16.
