Converted and cleaned up NPC/item data on day one. 100% smooth sailing, feels good man.
Dialogue UI ported (and converted from big-box-of-text to ‘speech bubble’ over the NPC’s head). Script conditions and substitutions done (now JS). In-game editing prototype done. Still needs some keyboard shortcuts and other tweaks for efficient workflow.
I’ve just begun the Character /Creation/ UI (class, stats, body build, starter equipment). The class system will require further experimentation - my goal in v0.7 is just to add it while I’m building UIs to avoid rework later.
Then I just have to do scene transitions, add a few adjacent scenes, a title screen if it’s easy, and whatever GUI system cleanup/fixes I can finish this coming week.
