Unfortnuately the freedom of movement and interesting gameplay offered with the dual-stick design of the first iterations of our game has proved to be a hindrance to our development speed; and through testing, the overall user experince was lacking.
Now, we have taken a new direction to focus more on the actual end goal and how to reach it which plays out as a point-and-click experience.
Taking this new direction in game design has allowed us to progress at a rapid pace over a short period of time, introducing the following features:
These features, while still incomplete, show the not only the swift progress of the game's development, but also the general direction we mean to take in the final stages of development.
