Tl;dr: this was easier to fix than I expected. Check out the new tables.
They're "spark tables," most of us know the term. A bunch of ideas thrown together to spark off something interesting.
That's ... ok. I could make a fun game out of these tables. Most of us could.
But really, this format doesn't do enough to convey what's cool about the game.
Fair Ones is a game about eldritch horror. Do these two tables convey that?
No. They do not. They convey "random heist shenanigans, do crime" or something.
I need to provide tables that focus on the threat the Fair Ones impose, the threat that the players have to resolve. I need to make tables about monsters encroaching, not about jobs the players are tasked with.
When I produce those tables, I'll feel like Fair Ones is good.
