Backpack Hero Saving Update Hotfix 1
This update will result in a loss of Save Data. This relates to how Itch stores data and we cannot control it.
Bug Fixes:
- Improved performance of drag-and-drop on items, especially when you have many items that are heavy or float
- Improved performance of path-finding on Mana-Flows
- Fixed a glitch where gold could make a slot disappear when you spend it during an event
- Fixed a glitch where you could open the "Stats" box multiple times
- Fixed a glitch with item spawning - which especially effected the Star Potion
- Fixed the sandwich sprite which had some transparent pixels
- Fixed an issue where multi-use items could store the wrong images after a save (esp. Meal and Water Flask)
- Fixed a glitch with the "Retry" button - where it wouldn't start the player from Matthew
- Fixed a glitch where the Curse of Poison could effect enemies instead of the player
- Fixed a glitch where stats were displayed with negative values
- Fixed a glitch where Healers stay on the map after you leave
- Fixed a glitch where save games could corrupt the "The End?" event after defeating the Boss
- Fixed the Cleansing Potion, which wasn't removing the burn status effect
- Fixed an issue where items couldn't be selected when behind the Map/Inventory button
- Fixed an issue with the particle system after loading
- Fixed a glitch where Heavy Items could float after leveling up
- Fixed a glitch where enemy attack intention descriptions could be displayed incorrectly - especially on "heal all" actions
- Fixed a memory leak with ManaStones related to saving and loading
- Fixed an issue where item placement preview could display without transparency
Changes:
- Music and SFX volumes are now saved when set
- Changed the dueling sword so it is refreshed when an adjacent shield is used
- Electric Stone is now conductive
- Lowered the health on the Fire Geckos again
