This week has been dedicated to further prototyping and ironing out the mechanics of FurnaceFeeders. We have continued to expand the implemented features and now have almost all mechanics working in our latest prototype including; Doors, conveyor belts, scrap stealing and a rework of the movement mechanics.
We will continue playtesting to greater understand the positives and negatives in our design and adapt our gameplay accordingly. In addition to this, we have been working on map designs to find an environment that suits the game and aids in creating a fun and engaging flow. Below are our top 3 picks!
After selecting our final map and making any tweaks to our design, we will be launching full speed into development!
