When GGJ2022 was over I was very excited to get Abyssal Vertex out there, I was proud of myself for finally finishing a jam and really happy with what I had created.
The build released was very unstable and a lot of the mechanics that were in the build actually were broken under most events when playing the game and the extent of this had managed to get past with me not realizing just how broken it was.
Originally when I uploaded this project I had plans on giving it a bunch of small updates every week, as I have worked on the next update plans have started to change. There is still a update in the works but the scale of this update compared to the current build is much larger then the project currently on the page and I want to take the extra time to bring Abyssal Vertex to a much more polished and expanded state before making another public release.
The plan currently is to have this large update come out in about a month from this post, giving me time to flesh out the project more and allowing me time for proper QA testing before putting it out there.
I do not want to show most of the things under the hood of this next update as a lot of it is still being fleshed out and subject to a lot of changes , but I do have a little to show for now
Big thanks to those that played Abyssal Vertex in its current state, and to those that have patiently waited for the next update.
