I just wanted to share a major update on my game The Border. This was my first game, made in one week, submitted for the Icoso's GeoJam 2021. I have been working on this game on and off for more than six months, and recently I committed myself to work on it and, possibly, move on to another project. I feel great and very excited about publishing this major update \( ^o^)/
In this game, you played as two squares, red and blue, and you can only move one of them at a time. To move the other square, you have to switch. Switching squares will stop the physics of the other square and platforms with a different color. For example, moving the red square will cause the blue square and blue platforms to stop moving. However, stopping the other color's physics creates a disconnect between the two squares. Stopping physics completely limits the interaction between the squares. Therefore, I decided to slow the physics instead of completely stopping them. This way, the player has to worry about both squares at the same time, while figuring out what moves they should take next.
and if you are interested in continuing this project, please reach out to me, as I will consider developing it again. Or maybe you have a project and you need somebody to help, please also let me know, maybe I can follow you along your journey. As for now, I wanted to try something new, maybe delving into web development. Have a nice day, and keep dreaming! (≧ω≦ )
