Just a quick status update. Given what our goals for the game are, we are (as mentioned in a previous devlog) switching to Unity. We had some issues (injury) with learning Unity and had to postpone our learning by a few months. We do intend to restart our learning of Unity next month though.
We will likely stick to 2D sprites although 3D models would be cheaper in the long run.
