Updates & Housecleaning

I spent the afternoon today cleaning up the files for Songs of the Northlanders. Most of this was just to make the chapter for Introduction&Character Creation and the chapter on Skills mesh with the current direction of the game. I've replaced the outdated files. 

What's changed and why? Let's see if I can explain my brain. 

Introduction & Character Creation

• I updated and edited the beginning skills for all seven (7) classes to better represent how they are played by my group. I feel these are better representations of how the characters exist in the world as well. Each class now begins with five (5) skills. Dwarves, Elves, and Halflings have all five skills predetermined whereas Human characters get to choose what Core Skill is modified. This helps humans be further diversified and helps you as the player with more choices as to how to customize your character. 
• I updated and edited the Human Tribes as well as the modification to skills and benefits provided per tribe. 

Skills

• During my work a couple of weeks back on the Exploration chapter, and through playtests running overland adventures, I determined more skills would be needed for the overland journey portion of the game. I've added Farming, Fishing, Hunting, Performing, Riding, Sailing, Survival, and Weaving. Many of these skills play into my plans for seasonal play, as well as the forthcoming town phase of the game.
• I changed the name of Sleight of Hand to Criminal. The description of Sleight of Hand made it sound like it was mostly for picking pockets or stealing general items. I did however intend it to include picking locks and pockets -but it also now includes other activities like counterfeiting and smuggling.
