(wow a normal title for once) 

The first week of NaNoRenO 2022 is officially over! How is everyone doing???

...

I feel like Twitter is less active compared to previous years of NaNo... But that won't stop me, mwahaha.

(The image in the thumbnail was me experimenting with a type of text box that covered the bottom quarter of the screen, but since I felt it took up too much viewing room, I went back to how I usually make text boxes.)

Progress Dump:

• Title screen sketch and plans to pan it (a little inspired by Butterfly Soup's, hehe. But the file size is too big to show here.)

• Sprite sketches of Aq and the bird thing

• Slightly-less-edgy-and-annoyed cat girl sprites POLISHED (... But since I planned to use side images, I did not need to do this 🥲 It might be useful in the future, but this is NaNoRenO.)

• OST for the Main Theme (it's called "Freed", I always use the first thing I come up with, hmm...) and gatherings of free music (I even made an album cover for it! You can listen to it on the main page)

• Some sound effects, both free and from my brilliant mouth (as you can hear in the point and click video)

• Basic GUI (text boxes, cursor idle/hover, as you can see in the point and click video)

• 4k words of dialogue, foreshadowing, and mundane shenanigans. I swear it has a plot (；・∀ ・)
  I also did this fun thing on Twitter where you show the story of the VN through emojis: 🐈‍🦜📱🐇🌆🔪🐀🍩🧋🌃 the knife is not supposed to be violent lolol)

... Phew!

Next week I’m going to ATTEMPT to line and color all the sprites and get more of their dialogue down! I’ll also try to use side images for the first time :D Maybe I can get the title screen working and panning and add an Easter egg?? We’ll see…

It’s also finals week yohoyoho my last chance to save my grades from the ravine 🙃
