Hello everyone and welcome to a new sneak peek of Lucky Paradox
I hope you are doing well <3
I want to thank you for your answers about the reports. Likewise, I think that every two weeks will be a good rhythm to report on the progress of the game. Perhaps a post with previews of the next update would also be interesting (images only) :)
Now let's go with the progress:
During these weeks, the development of the game has been progressing at a good pace, with a new important feature that has already been finished and with a new novelty for the community.
As I had mentioned during the previous report, I have already finished a global compendium that covers the whole Lucky Paradox story from beginning to end, with the idea of having a better narrative structure during the events that will be narrated in the next updates.
Right now, I'm about to finish the final part of Liz's story (which will be divided in two parts, with the first one totally focused on Argleton story). And it's taken me a bit longer than usual, as I must consider many details and situations that happened during Argleton past and that directly connect to our role as a player in this small town.
And there will be new content for both Maxy and Layla!
Right now, the script of version 0.8A is 70% complete, there is still a big revelation to be added that we will be able to see once Liz's story is finished and that connects directly with many of the main characters.
There is also progress in the artwork needed for the next update, although there are still many images to be done and some animations. All the images that make up the new museum research interface have been completed.
And speaking about the museum...
From the next update it will be possible to use a new function that will allow us not only to collect important artifacts that we find in Argleton, but also to perform research to get more details about the lore of the game, in return we will need a minimum amount of Knowledge points and in very rare occasions, tools or Requirements.
I have tried to make an interface as simple as possible: On the right we can see a list of all the Artifacts we have so far, by selecting one of these will appear in the center of the screen, you can see their requirements and perform an investigation, if your knowledge is sufficient, you will make a progress (symbolized by a green bar) that will be filled gradually, increasing the difficulty at each advance.
Once completed, it means that we have already discovered all the secrets kept in that Artifact.
We can talk to Liz at any time after unlocking the Museum, to receive clues to the possible location of an Artifact. In the future, I plan to add Artifacts in hidden places throughout the Argleton locations, so Liz will become your best help to do this job right.
I think this will be a great feature to present the lore in an orderly and optional way, as well as serving as a nice addition to the main story.
Also, by way of keeping better order in the game's story, Sirxtias has been making a Lucky Paradox fandom/wiki. The idea is that, in time, it will be a useful place for players looking for guidance or just for fun.

There's still a long way to go graphically, but I still think it looks pretty good for an early stage!
I've left out quite a few details so as not to spoil the big reveal you'll see in the next update.
I'm going to put my best effort and time to have the next update available as soon as possible, I'm very excited about it (and a little scared ngl lol)!
I send you a big hug from afar and wish you a great week.
And see you soon with more updates!
