As everyone will know, I have had a problem with my wrist, or at least I thought my wrist was the problem, but in fact my whole arm (from shoulder to wrist) was inflamed. This happened because I have been drawing and played video games too much this past year.
I use a mouse to draw pixel art, and the fact that my arm position wasn't changing at all from drawing to playing video games was the real problem. Let's add to it that I wasn't aware of how to stretch my arm, of how to strenght my arm up and that my overall body posture was bad. All those factores caused my arm to inflamed and to be really hard to cure, cause there were tons of factors involved.
Now I've learned how to stretch my arm so the tendons are more flexible and relaxed, I've learnt to take recurrent breaks while drawing and to strenght my arm up so it's more resistant. I've also added many postural stretchings to my daily routine and stopped playing pc video games.
After all that I've come trough, I really wanna ask you all to take care of your body if you have a sedentary job, cause I didn't and I had to spend a lot of money and time to patch it, when the problem was just my negligence and the thought of being almost unstoppable. I was too bound to the thought that the body was just a tool of my mind, now I have the awareness that it is an essential part of my being and I have to take care of it as I take care of my mind.
At my actual condition, I can draw a couple of hours without feeling any arm stress, so I restart the daily update mission, but with smaller updates for a while.
