It’s been a while since my last update. Partly because I’ve been busy with other activities (game jams, other projects, etc.). But mainly because I wanted to have a fresh perspective on this project.
The last couple of weeks, I’ve been porting the game to Godot. This has been incredibly fun and I’m really glad I did it. The 2D part of the engine is a pleasure to work with and gives me a lot of flexibility. The core goals of the game remain the same, but I reworked the puzzle elements, visuals, controls and much more. I will write a follow-up devlog with more details soon. In the meantime, enjoy a sneak peek of the current status in the video above.
As always, follow me to get more updates and let me know what you think in the comments.
