Alpha devlog #4 - Characters animations and rendering

Too far, too late
A downloadable game

In this new video, I am showing some improvements done to have more realistic lights and characters animations for the base.

I show some details about:

  • Gameplay
  • Characters animations
  • Lights and rendering

The characters will be procedurally generated and will have different traits, skin, and clothes colors, to help manage in the top-down view.

We have switched back to the Unity Standard Render Pipeline, which allows us to get multiple shadows from light sources (sun + base lights) and provide a better result, mainly at night.

A few changes had been applied to the Roofs transparency, shadows, and also terrain generation.
