Hey! Long time no see, eh? Can you believe it's been a whole year since I released Pillars on Poppy Hills? Honestly, I can't lmao. But here I am, one year later, with more projects under my belt, under my ever-growing WIP pile, and with an entirely different life than I had when publishing it.
So the question is, am I doing anything special for Pillars on Poppy Hills' anniversary? The thing is, yes! I want to release the artbook I've promised in the past, but there's so many roadbloacks in my life (which includes a terrible 6 month long burnout and having a dayjob because I need to pay bills) that I wound up getting half of the book done by the anniversary. Which hey, at least it's better than nothing!
So what I decided to do is to publish half of it now, and publish the rest of it later. The current edition I'm releasing includes sections where I talk about inspiration and some visual development, as well as deleted scenes and some afterstories of The Researcher's and The Painter's respective routes. The next edition will include more commentary about character designs, more concept art, and possibly some illustrations and comics!
