The Prologue revamp update is done! things got a little dark last week, so it took me longer than expected. also the lore screen is not included in this update, that will have to wait till next chapter.
However! I'm very excited to share a version of the prologue which I think not only delivers information in more detail, but also starts the story with even more spectacle and emotional power! To that end This will be the first of many updates to come that will include little snippets of hand drawn animation to highlight important moments of the story.
Working Animation into this project was a bit more work than I was expecting on the technical end of things, but I'm happy to have a working process to get it in there now! I haven't had a chance to do animation in some time, and I'm excited to get back into it! (Plus, it makes me so happy to see my characters in motion. Even if its only for a moment, I get to pretend they are in their own little cartoon!)
I hope y'all enjoy what I've done. I wont be going back to revamp old sections like this for a while, as the story has got to move forward now! Chapter 8 is up next. It's going to include a bit more of a complicated animation than what appears in the new prologue, So I'm glad I de-rusted before tackling that! I'll update y'all when I have a more solid projected time for the chapter 8 update, but until then, you can expect it to come out about the end of March (along with the lore page) .
