Changes in version 22.2.24.1
System FaultA downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
- Many of the sounds have been changed.
- Sound ambience is procedurally generated around the player to create a more industrial feel.
- Robots now make sounds on some AI state changes, with an additional sound on destruction.
- Robots now comment when returning to their posts after a failed investigation.
- Added a few more dialog lines.
- Implemented card mechanic. Cards can eventually be unlocked to tweak gameplay in some way. For now though, all cards are unlocked while I change them. Access cards by starting a new “card game” from the main or pause menus.
- Add the Brawler and Sniper laser cards.
- Fixed issue where collision/visibility shapes were drawn with gaps, or offset by half a unit.
- As documented, it is now no longer possible to advance to the next level when an enemy is visible. Fixed a previous bug allowing that.
- The application window now initializes in borderless full-screen mode.
- Change how releases are built. In particular, the Linux build is made in a Debian Buster container to improve distribution compatibility.
- Fixed more visibility/AI-related bugs.
- Resolved more crashes.
