Hello!
It's been a while since I updated Immune System TD. I created a glitch where sometimes the enemies don't spawn at the beginning of the level. It was so difficult to fix, I had to scrap a lot of the code and re-write it. The game is back to where it was, minus a few features:
-Eosinophil and Parasite level diabled
-Ability to place cells disabled
However, there's been a lot of improvements! These are the new features in this update:
-Ability to immediately replay a level when you lose
-Level selection screen allows you to replay any unlocked level
-Game difficulty decrease (previously,players were getting stuck on level 2)
-More scientifically accurate depiction of B and T cells
-Made click-and-drag mechanic of placing cells more intuitive
-Added killer T cells
-More scientifically accurate depiction of B cells and antibodies
-Different types of plasma cells produce different antibodies
-T cells are not only able to attack antibody-covered cells, instead, cells covered in antibodies speed up the phagocytosis process of macrophages and neutrohphils
-More scientifically accurate depiction of viruses:
-virus infected cells now have a time delay before they explode
-viruses coated in antibodies are unable to invade cells and "die" after a bit of time
-red blood cells have been replaced by skin cells, as red blood cells have no nucleus and cannot be invaded by viruses
-Main menu now has moving bacteria and white blood cells autospawning and fighting in the background
Future goals:
-Add cancer (Credit to Aeratril Studio for the beautiful cancer cell animation)
-Add sandbox mode
