I’ve got many people messaging me asking me to bring back the old Spotify from LB1 functionality for song requests - to add them to a queue instead of a playlist.
This approach has always been messy and error prone as Spotify API doesn’t provide a way to retrieve your current queue, so I’ve decided against it.
BUT… I think you will love this new feature even better!
If you redownload and reinstall your Spotify extension and press the SETUP button, you will see a new option when you press W. It does exactly what it says, it auto switches your playlist!
LioranBoard will add a new song request to your SR playlist, wait for your current track to finish playing (if you’re not already on your SR playlist) and automatically SWITCH to your SR playlist to play the latest added SR track.
When your last SR track finishes playing, LioranBoard will automatically switch to your latest (non SR) playlist you were listening to prior to switching to your SR playlist (if you were listening to one).
