Version 0.3.6 Public Release + 2022 Roadmap

Hello everyone! We hope you are enjoying a warm and cozy Valentine's Day together with those you love. To that end, we have prepared a nice treat that we hope will have a sort of "Netflix and chill" effect for you!

We're talking about releasing version 0.3.6 to the public, of course! Containing day 7 and two new dates (Brym and Lucra), 2 sets of CGs drawn by Rauch (a Morias closeup during day 6 and the redrawn Garreth first date sex scene), lots of new music and sfx to cover most of the game and more, this build is sure to keep you busy and excited!

Status of version 0.3.7

This last month, it was Gherod who finished the bulk of the writing, completing the second Brym date and also the second date for Cedrik. Vinickus is still working on day 8, while Lone Wanderer has been writing on new Corvolin content still. The latter two will not make it into the next build yet.

We also have more art to show off in-game while also more sounds were implemented in the newer content, however, this build will see a slight delay. We have been aiming for a release in the end of February to early March. However, due to some difficulties within our private lives, it may become a March release. We will keep you updated on our schedule.

2022 Roadmap

However, we do have some good news to go along with this, as we have settled down on a work structure and milestones to pursue for this year.

Our planning for the game itself is currently structured in several acts or chapters. Not to take away too much of the surprise, but we have structured them in a way that gradually introduces more of the supernatural elements, while still having them serve the themes of the game.

The first chapter, which is mostly grounded so far, is about introducing the world and also building relationships a bit with all the characters in the form of dates. We are currently pretty far into finishing this chapter. What is left is the following:

  • Azorin Dates
  • More Corvolin Content and Dates with them.
  • Perhaps one more Cedrik Date
  • One or two more Lucra Dates
  • Main day-by-day content until Day 10

All of the other characters are finished so far for this chapter and we will spend more time to polish the game, to finish up this part of the game completely.

With the Cedrik and Brym dates getting finished up, we are probably looking at around one or two pieces of content per month, which puts us at around 12 pieces of content to work on and finish.

This is more low-balling how much content we may roll out per month, but in the meantime we are also working on new tech in the background to prepare for chapter 2 of the game. That part is currently planned to include exploration segments and much more supernatural elements.

Rriik is currently also intending to work and improve the backend of our game further, however it depends a bit on certain things in his personal life that are outside his control.

But other than that, our writers are also more intent to get more into the groove of programming within Godot in order to at least save our programmers some time in implementing the story content itself. Previously they had to reconcile and also polish up the content to make sure that it all was working well. They will still be checking if things are working out, obviously, but the bulk of the implementation should now be a bit lessened on them.
