I have happy to announce the public release of Black Rabbit Trainer 0.1.5. You may have noticed that I did not end up releasing version 0.1.4 publicly. This is not due to anything being wrong with 0.1.4 however once I started creating 0.1.5 I made some changes that I thought were too important not to include and would rather the next public release have these changes in it.
To that end I decided to forego the public release of 0.1.4 and have instead released version 0.1.5. Changes in this version compared to 0.1.3 include:
The first thing you'll notice about this version is that it is substantially smaller in size. Probably around 1/3rd of the size. This was due to compressing most of the images which allowed such a significant space saving. To me there is no noticeable decrease in quality. This was important as when I include additional characters I don't want the game to become too large to download easily.
From my play testing of this version all of the scenes should be able to be viewed within 100 in-game days. This is a reduction from around 150 in-game days it would have previously taken to view even less scenes from earlier versions. To me this is about the right amount of time. I'm fairly confident that the game is less grindy now but it's always something that I'm analysing - particularly when I include more scenes with a higher stat requirement.
