Demo Fixes
Just a quick little patch for some of the more big-but-easily-fixable issues in the demo version, here's the patch notes:
- Fixed an issue that was making certain enemies invincible while Enemy AI was set to Cunning
- Fixed a bug with the campfire shortcut door in the Starry Peaks
- Fixed an encounter that was automatically increasing difficulty settings when fought
- (Mostly) fixed shopkeeper portraits, which weren't showing up at all
- Toned down the gruesomeness of a certain tree-related gag in Flowergrove
- Made the sign that marks the end of the demo actually readable (the text on it is nothing noteworthy)
- Rearranged some fanmail that mentioned skills too early to be relevant, and rewrote some of them to be more clear and helpful.
- Edited the description text for many skills to be hopefully a bit less confusing
- Fixed some bugginess with the breakable floors in the Dark Bad Castle
- Other minor fixes and tweaks that most people probably wouldn't notice, but I sure did
Other noted bugs. They're not gamebreaking, but they're annoying to fix. I'll get 'em eventually:
- Shopkeeper portraits and flavor text messages will sometimes disappear, but at least they kinda work for now
- Freeze and Petrify often don't properly reset character sprites when they're cured outside of battle
- MP isn't recovering when it should be according the the Free Heals setting
- Some enemies ignore usage conditions for specific skills in specific situations because of an error in an AI plugin
