Big Howdies, friends!
It’s the new year and we are ready to give it our all. With our release coming up this year in the not-so-distant future we thought we’d let you in on some exciting news about what’s been happening on our end. You’re getting some cool news hot off the press from us, so grab a warm cup of coffee/tea/etc and take a read!
Humble Beginnings
Almost two years ago, before the pandemic started our little studio made a preliminary build for our game and played it with real, live people at PAX. But now, oh boy, with over two years of work under our belt, we’ve made some big changes; We’ve added 10+ new characters, different locations, a shop, a gacha machine, 2P mode, effect cards, tons of new missions, tools and pieces. Suffice to say, Mini Maker has gone from something pretty cool to being SUPER cool. Now, we’re looking a bit like this:
The Land of the Minis
Mini Maker now has the teeny town of Miniburg, Thing City, The SW@MP and MOMMA (Museum of Mini Maker Art): A museum, not affiliated or at all a reference with the MoMA! Location, location, location!
Your Clients
Oh? You thought you could just make whatever you want? (I mean, technically, you could, don’t let me stop you). Nah! Mini Maker has a whole bunch of new friends for you to meet, all with individual taste and personalities. Some of our Discord 's favourites have been the following:
Paloma, our resident Plant-Based Girl Boss and Franchoise, our grumpy cook who’s ready to ruin his customers' meals.
Challenges
With new clients comes new things to do! Time to make borderline disturbing children toys, concerning charcuterie plates, oddly enthusiastic UFOs, and so, so much more. Take pleasure in the fact that you will also be able to make things like this:
Become a Character Contest
Want to be a character in our game? Yes, yes, you do. Check out our competition by signing up for our newsletter!
Suffice to say, we’re starting the new year off with a bang and we can’t wait to share more in the upcoming few months. Stay safe and stay kind to yourself!
Best,
Casa Rara Studio
