Hello my friends
Had a problem with distractions this week. The issue was that I kept losing focus and getting off track. I did work, and get plenty done, but I believe I could had done more.
A lack of focus could be the result of two opposite extremes. One might simply need to get to work on focus and limit distractions, while the other can be a sign of burnout. Sometimes a day off can help with distractions, then work to maintain focus and limit distractions. Burnout requires a little more time off.
This week seemed like the former, so I just need to buckle down and get more focused.
Art – About 50% done – up from 42%
Again, this is an estimate, but I did produce more than 8% of the images this week.
The reason for the discrepancy is that I ended up creating more images than I thought I would. I kept adding in more images than I probably needed to, but it simply felt right. I have been trying to keep myself from going overboard since I don’t have forever.
I hope people appreciate the work that is going into all of this.
Story – The next release is done.
Basic adjustments as I create the images, not too much.
Code (i.e., Ren’Py) – Core is done… for the most part
Nothing to add.
Final Thoughts:
Even with the distractions I felt, I still am happy with what I have produced. I will probably take it easy Sunday, and try to regain focus on Monday.
