The Houdini Game Jam 2021 is now over, and whilst we did not win we still had a lot of fun taking part.
There were a few critical bugs that crept into to the game just before the deadline and with the lock now lifted I can finally upload the fix for them.
Asynchronous multiplayer is a fun concept to play with for a game jam (where you will struggle to get multiple players online at the same time) - but it is a shame that server issues broke that part for a few weeks during judging (fixed now!)
I need to get better at using Houdini, it's a powerful way to generate a lot of content in a short space of time, which is very valuable for Jams. - The cities in this game are a good playground for me improve in time for the 2022 Jam.
