Update 1.1 Facility
It's been nearly 8 months. There was no updates to this game. This thing was good as dead, but it's back.
The reason this was dead was because I lost motivation to develop this, even in Unity. I went to working on C:R, but then swapped to Renpy. I even wanted to bring this game back by making it in Unreal Engine, because I prefer visual coding, but I just had to make this update in Unity.
Changelog
Additions:
- Added Level 2 to The Facility.
- Added the Water Tower and a Grid Room to the Main Menu
Changes:
- Rearranged the Main Menu, with new colour gradients, a dark green atmosphere, and a stretched surface to cover the camera pan.
- Defaulted the Follower BEAN so that it is disabled when the Playground loads.
Fixes:
- Before you enter The Facility, the ground surface would be rendered pink, due to the removal of the material. This has been fixed.
- When the main menu loaded, the title of the game did not appear, due to the title being placed above the canvas. This has been fixed.
- During development of Update 1.0 Water Tower, the pause menu inside would not accept mouse inputs. As a work-around, Pause Menu S was added to simplify the menu, although was bugged. This has been fixed.
- In the main playground, the Hammer was shown to have no collision. This has been fixed.
Removals:
- Removed most of the "paintings" throughout the Water Tower. These were render textures, which would show what was actually there, without a still image. This was removed to reduce the amount of lag inside.
