I've been making some progress in the game and I've thankfully easily implemented some placeholder art, hazards, enemies, and checkpoints. You currently have the ability to jump on the heads of the enemies to stun them. If you ground pound within their proximity, you will knock them out too. The system still has to be touched up and power-ups aren't exactly there yet. Powerups will be SMB-style where you lose them when you get hit and it gives you an extra chance to get hit before dying.
