Hello! Here's what I've added to the recent update:- There's a background for the overworld! It's clearly just scribbled in to give a sense of the final product, but it beats the black boxes in a grey void.
- Enemies and NPCs have proper overworld sprites! To differentiate the two, the enemies will walk around randomly and shout about how much they want to fight. The overworld sprites have also been added to the bestiary!
- There's music! One song for the overworld (and any menu screens), and one song for battles. You can adjust the volume in the pause menu, and begin the game muted when starting a new game.
- The building will become transparent when you're behind it to give better visibility.
- This was a last minute change that didn't make it into the devlog, but traps now have proper sprites!
