Re:M Demo Patch 1.4.2 [Update] + Chapter 1 [Progress Update]

Hello! This is a demo update for Re:Memorize (Patch 1.4.2) aka. The Final Demo Patch.

First of all, I just want to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to anyone and everyone reading this delayed dev-log. 

It’s been an exhausting year, not to mention these past few months, as I’ve been crunching from work while working on the Visual Novel over my winter holidays. (I don’t know what taking a break is...)

However, it was all worth it. The demo is polished (to the best it can be for a demo) and Chapter 1 is two-thirds completed.

I can’t say for certain how things will go this month, but the goal at the moment is: to complete Chapter 1 this January.

It’s very likely I will if I crunch the time. But then again, I have to be realistic with my strengths and capabilities.

This last Demo Patch consists of:

• Edited Dialogue 
• Updated Character Sprites

There are also quality changes to the UI. However, those will only be present in the full version only.

2022 is the year that things will start rolling. 

With the Demo out of the way, I won’t be updating the itch.io page as much. But as I’ve stated before, I’ll be posting monthly dev-logs of my progress.

I haven’t yet started typing out the Kickstarter information, but once I do, I’ll post about it here and make a Twitter announcement for it. 

With that being said, that’ll be it for now. I’m experiencing some minor burnout at the moment. But if there’s anything I’ve missed or need more clarification, feel free to drop a comment. I relay the good news to my coder, Jeff.
