Happy New Year, and with it comes an updated Paper Story!
The core mechanics of Paper Story are fairly solid, so updates like this tend to be focused on balancing issues that hadn't been caught before and new reference material. I posted a breakdown on the Discord, but the more noteworthy detail is Star Spirits and Crystal Stars have been codified! I would still recommend mocking up your own Star Power moves in campaigns of your own, but I thought it would be good to show how it might be done.
Speaking of, over on the Discord our Play-By-Post is entering Chapter 2 soon, complete with Eldstar! I'd encourage anyone who wants to see the game in action come check it out and maybe mock up a character. v1.2.5 includes example Techniques for every Race, which might spark your imagination!
