Weekly Update #11 - New year new bugfixes
Happy new year everybody! Hope that 2022 will be better for all of us. And to get off to a good start, I’ve spent the week cleaning the backlog, and made fixes for quite a lot of bugs. Here’s the full list:
Content
- Bugfix: Ambient Occlusion was causing black artifacts inside Humanoid eyes when they were closed
- Bugfix: When Hope would stop moving, or would move very slowly, Letty’s AI would not update its target and would just keep going
- Bugfix: When stamina was empty, it was possible to stuck Letty in a wall in order to stop her from falling, and then wait for stamina to refill
- Bugfix: The double vision “cross-eyed” blur effect that was used during cutscene #1 would cause a memory leak that would eventually crash the game completely
- Bugfix: One of the shots of cutscene #1 was framed incorrectly
- Level Design: Created a new scripted sequence that will serve as an introduction for cutscene #4
Work in Progress
All done!
Objectives for next update
- Create a topology image generator that will be used to generated minimaps automatically from the geometry of the level
- If I have the time: start the design of the map menu
