I figured out how to fix a few bugs, finally. A choice and a paragraph that were missing should now appear. Twine variables are a little finicky--the variable for Prince's name was "$Prince" and his friendship level was "$Princefriendship" and the program I make the game in didn't like that they started the same. All good now!
