I am planning a bigger release for January, but recent changes have had such a profound impact on performance, all for the better, I wanted to drop these out sooner rather than wait!
So this patch has a few good tweaks and additions:
Bug fixes:
- Reflections preference is now saved correctly
- Beach Town wandering AI waypoints fixed
- Church terrain alignment fixed
- Restored tracking pillar to home base
- Complete level immediately after death bug fixed
- Fixed missing animation events / sounds for animals and enemies
New features / enhancements
- Minimap completely replaced - this brings a huge performance increase to the game!
- Added scaling of minimap markers - bigger is closer, small is further away
- HDRP settings tweaked - also bring huge performance increases!
- Added options to tweak graphics settings for further performance gains:
- Swap volumetric clouds (slow) for flat clouds (fast)
- Increase (slow) or decrease (fast) draw distance
- Added online high score table
- AIs excluded from all buildings
- Increased player fall damage
- Increased stamina usage for rolling and jumping
- Slower stamina recovery
- Decreased player climbing angle
- Treasure now "dropped" on death

- Fixed up scripting namespaces
