#Secret of the Island #update #Saturday #Project 2 #Christmas
Hello my friends
Usually, I try to get some Saturday work done before I post the updates, (local time), but I am not sure I will be able to get any work done, so I am posting this right after midnight.
I will be spending time with the family Saturday, so might not be doing any work that day. (Knowing me I will be.) I may take a tablet with me and if I get a chance do some writing and organization for the next update.
For this week, had some stuff going on due to the holidays. But I felt more productive than the previous week. Though it doesn’t look like it from the percentage.
Art – About 19% done – up from 12% (I overestimated last week.)
I believe I was a little optimistic with last weeks 15%. It was probably closer to 12%. But again, these are just estimates to the number of images I will need to create. I would rather spend the time rendering than counting upcoming renders. Plus, as I go along the number of renders change.
But I did get a lot of renders done, and a few modifications. Things are moving along well in my opinion.
What might slow me down is the need to create a few things. For example, I have to build another hut. But I have the parts, I just need to make them look right, and customize it. A third one will be built, but not for this update.
Story – The next release is done.
Some rewrites as I am putting the images into the game.
Code (i.e., Ren’Py) – Core is done… for the most part
Other than adding transitions in, the code is pretty much done.
Final Thoughts:
I decided to move the art section to the top since that is the main focus right now.
As always, enjoy life.
